Plot summary

Here is a short review of "Tom & Jerry" movie plot summary.

Tom and Jerry are kicked out of their home after destroying it through all of their slapstick mayhem. After countless failed attempts at doing his job as a house cat, Tom is abandoned and disowned by his owners and is left without a place to live, and Jerry is also left without a source of food. Now homeless, the cat and mouse duo are left to wander the streets of New York City, decide to call a truce to their rivalry, and then go their separate ways to have a fresh start in their lives.
Jerry eventually finds shelter within the walls of a large, exquisite hotel in Manhattan that hosts many events, the latest being the "wedding of the century" between Ben (Colin Jost) and Preeta, during which Tom encounters the hotel's somewhat intimidating deputy general manager, Terrance (Michael Peña), who threatens to exterminate him.
When a young woman named Kayla (Chloë Grace Moretz) gets a job as a hotel employee, she notices Tom trying to find shelter. Terrance approves the idea of bringing Tom into the hotel to do his job as a solution to their pest problem. She joins forces with Tom to stop Jerry from ruining a glamorous Indian wedding reception that will later take place at the hotel. Tom and Jerry later realize that they need each other and must put their differences aside by working together.
