Plot summary

What is Halloween Kills movie plot?

Here is a short review of "Halloween Kills" movie plot summary.

On October 31, 2018, after being stabbed and left to die by psychiatrist Dr. Ranbir Sartain, allowing him to escape with spree killer Michael Myers (James Jude Courtney), Deputy Frank Hawkins (Will Patton) is found by passing teenager Cameron Elam (Dylan Arnold), who tends to his wounds and calls him an ambulance. Awakening, Hawkins regrets accidentally shooting and killing his partner in pursuit of Michael 40 years earlier before preventing Michael's original psychiatrist Dr. Sam Loomis from executing him outside of Michael's childhood home in order to arrest him himself, before resolving to kill him himself in the present.
Later that night, Tommy Doyle (Anthony Michael Hall) celebrates the 40th anniversary of Michael's arrest and imprisonment with longtime friends Marion Chambers (Nancy Stephens), Lindsey Wallace (Kyle Richards), and Cameron's father Lonnie, before toasting to the name of Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis). Elsewhere, after locking Michael in her basement and setting it on fire, Laurie, her daughter Karen (Judy Greer), and her granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) are horrified when a group of firefighters arrive at the burning Strode residence, unwittingly freeing Michael from the basement, who singlehandedly kills them all before driving back to Haddonfield in their fire engine.
Karen and Allyson submit Laurie to emergency surgery while Michael kills Laurie's neighbors Sondra (Diva Tyler) and Phil (Lenny Clarke). An emergency alert informs Tommy, Marion, Lindsey, and Lonnie of Michael's escape before bar patron Vanessa (Carmela McNeal) supposedly encounters Michael in the backseat of her car. Tommy and the others go outside to confront Michael as the car drives away and crashes; the driver leaves unnoticed by the crowd. En route to collect Cameron, Tommy forms a mob full of vengeful Haddonfield citizens to hunt down and kill Michael before he can kill anyone else.
